Scopely is looking for a QA Engineer (Automation) to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

What You Will Do
- Estimate the effort required for software testing tasks
- Test games on supported devices
- Report bugs clearly and directly, adding all necessary details so that the team responsible for resolving the issue has a complete understanding of what is incorrect
- Define the priority of bugs according to established guidelines
- Write test cases according to the specifications of the functionality; build test plans for version approval
- Establish testing processes
- Observe and disseminate quality control metrics, such as defect density and the number of open defects
- Identify the need for tools to test functionalities and specify the scope
- Manage defect databases and provide defect and quality reports
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with software testing
- Analytical: Able to understand the real impact of a bug on the player's experience.
- Curious: QA works directly with all areas of game development, and a curious profile tends to try to understand the reasons behind decisions and their impact on the product.
- Proactive: As the last phase of the development cycle, the chance of a QA being unable to complete a task is high. It is important to be very proactive in these moments to seek solutions with other team members
- Friendly: QA is the professional who points out problems in others' work. It is important to be very friendly when communicating with others to avoid conflicts
- In-depth knowledge of software quality control techniques, tools, and methods
- Able to navigate engines like Unity and Unreal
- Good to have: Capable of crafting and developing automated tests
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Game Design
