Job Description

Stavtar is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer Automation Tester to join their dynamic team in Mumbai/Bangalore. The role involves developing and executing automated tests using xUnit for .NET applications, collaborating with the development team to understand requirements and identify testing needs, writing clear and concise test cases, performing regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing, identifying and documenting defects, participating in code reviews, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.

Must have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
3 to 4 years of experience in Automation testing
Proven experience in software testing with .NET applications
Strong knowledge of xUnit framework and experience writing unit tests
Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
Understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman)
Experience in database testing
Experience working with build tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Experience in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues in automated tests
Capable of writing clean and concise test cases

Good to have:

Experience with other testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest)
Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., SpecFlow)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of the latest testing tools and technologies
Experience with performance testing tools

About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer Automation Tester to join our dynamic team at Mumbai/Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute automated tests using xUnit for .NET applications.

Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and identify testing needs.

Write clear and concise test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.

Perform regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using [insert defect tracking tool].

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and testability.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

3 to 4 years of experience in Automation testing.

Proven experience in software testing, specifically with .NET applications.

Strong knowledge of the xUnit framework and experience in writing unit tests.

Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.

Understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.

Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman).

Experience in database testing.

Experience working with build tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues in automated tests.

Capable of writing clean and concise test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with other testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest).

Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., SpecFlow).

Experience with performance testing tools.

Working Hours: 11:00 a.m. IST to 08:00 p.m. IST.

Location: Goregaon(W), Mumbai/Bangalore

Work Mode: Work from Offices
