About the Role:
We are seeking a People and Culture Business Partner with 6 to 8 years of experience, including expertise in payroll operations and Statutory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Business leaders and their teams, playing the role of strategic advisor and team player by providing practical advice, fit for purpose, and commercial.
- Partners with legal/finance and external parties as needed and required to resolve complex complaints/concerns.
- Supports with the development of contract terms for new hires, overseas hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
- Train/explain HR process and policies to stakeholders at all levels including their roles and responsibilities
- Form a strong collaborative partnership with the P&C BP team and COEs to understand the deliverables of each of them and their impact to the branch/region.
- Raise issues promptly to the Head of P&C for support and solutions where complex issues or risks arise.
- Oversee and manage payroll processes to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll disbursements for all employees.
- Manage ESI, PF, and PT challan inputs, ensuring accurate calculations and full compliance with statutory obligations. Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Validate pay sheets to ensure accurate processing and error-free salary disbursement, verifying that all payroll components are correctly calculated.
Skills & Experience:
- Over 6 plus years of experience in the Human Resources function.
- Prior experience in end-to-end payroll administration is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of statutory requirements and compliance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources.
- Proficient in talent engagement.
- Experience in managing HRIS and other system implementations and enhancements.
- Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
