Job Description

This role involves operating and maintaining a large number of test rigs in a Client Software Test Center. Responsibilities include working as part of an operational team to manage boxcars, VILs, and other rig types. A high level of automation is utilized, requiring strong skills in fault tracing, testing, and usage planning. The work demands hands-on experience with Basetech Testing (SWDL, Diagnostic, Gateway etc.) and log analysis using tools like CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT. Basic electrical fault tracing in test objects is essential. The team operates in a rapidly changing environment, so a positive and progressive mindset is crucial.

Must have:

Hands-on experience with Basetech Testing
Log analysis in CANoe, Wireshark, DLT
Basic electrical fault tracing
Teamwork and problem-solving skills

Good to have:

Vector tools (CANoe/CANAlyzer)
CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocol knowledge
ECU/frame simulation understanding
Linux experience
CI/CD, baseline & binary management
Test automation knowledge

Project description

In Client Software Test Center, they will operate a large number of test rigs and in order to manage this there is a need for high level of automation, but also need a high level of capability when it comes to rig fault tracing, testing and planning of usage.

Responsibilities

In this role you will work as a team member in the operational team responsible for the operation pf boxcars, VILs and other rig types.

Skills

Must have

Hands-on experience

Basetech Testing (SWDL, Diagnostic, Gateway etc.)

Log Analysis in CANoe, Wireshark, DLT etc.

Basic electrical Fault tracing in Test object (Boxcar, Components rigs etc.)

Nice to have

Vector tools (CANoe/CANAlyzer)

Basic understanding of CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocol

Basic knowledge of simulation (ECU simulation, frame simulation etc.)

Some experience working in Linux env

Also positive if the candidate has some knowledge about continuous integration, baseline and binary management and general test automation. Since the team is working in a rapidly changing environment it is very important that candidates have a positive and progressive mindset.
