Job Description

The Sales Manager at Google Customer Solutions will lead and develop a high-performing sales team focused on small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the Mexican market. Responsibilities include recruiting, retaining, and motivating the team to achieve ambitious revenue and product targets. The role requires analyzing data, developing strategic plans, coaching sales behaviors, ensuring team readiness for complex advertising solutions, and fostering a culture of sales innovation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, along with experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field, fluency in English and Spanish, and a proven track record of success in building and managing sales teams. This role focuses on driving client satisfaction and growth for SMBs within the Mexican market.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leading a sales team or developing sales professionals.
  • Experience building a book of business.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with regional stakeholders.
  • 8 years of business experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or comparable degree.
  • Experience with or coaching digital campaign management, particularly in Google Ads or competing products.
  • Experience in building relationships with internal and external C-level stakeholders, particularly in an advertising or marketing context.
  • Experience managing and inspiring high-performance sales teams.
  • Independent, motivated and thrives on immersion in a rapidly changing environment, with effective communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.
  • Deliver against ambitious revenue and product targets, and grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small and medium businesses in the Mexican market.
  • Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers, while tracking activity and providing detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent tracking.
  • Model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
