Job Description

The Senior Account Strategist in Mid-Market Sales at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) focuses on growing medium and large businesses in Brazil. This role requires fluent English and Portuguese communication to engage with local stakeholders. Responsibilities include understanding client business goals, improving campaign performance, driving Google product adoption, and developing short and medium-term strategies. You'll design transformative media strategies, provide solution selling and partnership management, uncover client needs, and achieve their objectives through Google's advertising solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, experience in digital advertising and consultative sales, and the ability to build executive-level relationships.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in digital advertising/sales
  • Fluent English & Portuguese
  • Consultative sales experience
  • Data analysis & metric skills
  • Executive relationship building
  • Develop multi-quarter growth plans
Good to have:
  • Google Ads experience
  • Online marketing best practices knowledge

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Ads and online marketing best practices.
  • Ability to develop and grow executive-level relationships with agency and advertiser customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Excellent analyzing data and metrics skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for clients in Google Customer Solutions (GCS) designed to grow medium and large sized fast growing businesses in Brazil. Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success.

In this role, you will understand the clients business goals. You will improve campaign performance, drive thoughtful Google product adoption, and build short and medium-term strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. With your knowledge of online media and communication skills, you will design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will provide Google-caliber solution selling, partnership management and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. You will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives while driving incremental business agreements through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
  • Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunity for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer sales experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Generate business plans by collaborating with specialists and Product teams and defining business goals, key strategies and success metrics.
