Sr. Clinical Territory Account Manager, Denmark
As a Senior Clinical Territory Account Manager, you will leverage your technical skills in life science along with commercial acumen to drive your ability to achieve sales objectives in alignment with the Company's mission. You will be eager to cultivate relationships with existing stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted partner and a crucial player in our Commercial business.
This role will cover two of the Danish health regions and be responsible for driving clinical sales growth across these territories.

Please note that this is a field-based position where you are required to be based in Denmark. The role requires a valid driving license and you will be required to travel within the region.

As our Sr Clinical Territory Account Manager, you will have professional and strategic sales skills with an ability to develop and grow key accounts through networking at all levels of the stakeholder organization. You will also have the ability to convert qualified leads into closed deals and build your own pipeline of leads.
Preferred Experiential Background
- Develop high-value, long-term profitable stakeholders through relationship-building sales techniques.
- Identify and manage high-caliber genetic analysis sales opportunities through professional screening processes and use of all available information resources.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospects including personnel and responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition, and market.
- Prepare compelling stakeholder presentations and participate in all sales activities and assist with general stakeholder demonstrations, training, and support.
- Negotiate all genetic analysis sales in the territory and generate associated sales contracts and quotations.
- Maintain profit margins through effective sales negotiation.
- Coordinate and communicate sales activities and strategies effectively to supervisors.
- Develop and maintain all account/contact details within Illumina’s CRM database. Utilize the same to effectively monitor and direct customer purchasing activities.
- Leverage CRM system to grow sales from the existing customer base and expand the customer base in assigned territory.
- Provide regular and accurate sales forecast updates.
- Create a territory business plan that satisfies goals as established by sales management.
- Effectively build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline and manage the necessary levels of sales leads, prospects, and opportunities.
- Satisfy all product and technology training requirements.
Role Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Life Science or Diagnostics sales.
- Track record in managing high-value and complex sales cycles.
- Strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics is required.
- Professional and strategic sales skills with proven ability to develop and grow key accounts through networking at various levels of stakeholder organizations.
- Excellent negotiation, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the industry and the ability to understand clients' business objectives and challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- BA/BS or MS or equivalent degree in Life Sciences.
