Job Description

As a Senior Computer Scientist at Adobe, you'll be a key contributor to the Digital Experience (DX) business, a USD 4B+ enterprise serving 95%+ of Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities include designing and architecting new services and features, working in a full DevOps model (from specs to deployment), collaborating with architects and product management, building technical specifications and prototypes, resolving production issues, and staying abreast of emerging technologies. You'll orchestrate with the team to develop products or parts of larger products within Adobe's Experience Cloud.
Must have:
  • Design & architecture of new services
  • Full DevOps experience
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Rest Services
  • MySQL, Postgres knowledge
  • Excellent computer science fundamentals
Good to have:
  • Cosmos, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search
  • AWS/Azure, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk knowledge

Job Description

Role Summary

Digital Experience (DX) ( https://www.adobe.com/experience-cloud.html ) is a USD 4B+ business serving the needs of enterprise businesses including 95%+ of fortune 500 organizations.

We are looking for strong and passionate engineers to join our team as we scale the business by building the next gen products and adding value to our existing offerings. If you’re passionate about innovative technology, then we would be excited to talk to you!

What You'll Do

This is an individual contributor position. Expectations will be on the below lines:

  • Responsible for design and architecture of new services and features
  • Work in full DevOps mode, be responsible for all phases of engineering. From early specs, design/architecture, technology choice, development, unit-testing/integration automation, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with architects, product management and other engineering teams to build the services and product features
  • Build technical specifications, prototypes and presentations to communicate your ideas.
  • Participate in resolution of production issues and develop solutions to prevent future issues from happening again
  • Be well versed in emerging industry technologies and trends, and have the ability to communicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction.
  • Orchestrate with team to develop a product or parts of a large product.

Requirements

  • B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development
  • Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of design, and performance of algorithms
  • Deep knowledge of cloud-native applications
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Rest Services, MySQL, Postgres
  • Good Knowledge of some of Cosmos, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search is an added advantage
  • Passionate about quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising
  • Proficient in writing code that is reliable, maintainable, secure, and performant
  • Knowledge of AWS services and/or Azure, Dockers, Jenkins, Splunk
