The Analyst will work across diverse teams, delivering actionable insights and aligning financial plans with business objectives. Creative problem-solving, root cause analysis, and compelling presentation skills are crucial. This role demands a proactive approach, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will partner with the Executive Team, offering deep insights to drive business growth.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills
Good to have:
- Experience with financial systems
- Data visualization skills

Scopely is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Game Finance Business Partner team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis or the UK on a remote basis.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Scopely, you will play an essential role in driving the company's strategic growth objectives. You will collaborate with the game leadership team to provide in-depth financial analysis to support senior management's decision-making process. You will be responsible for managing key inputs for Scopely's financial operating model, leading forecasting and budgeting efforts while providing critical insights on the company's performance and identifying areas for optimization.

- Drive Financial Strategy: Lead crucial financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and reporting, ensuring precision and timeliness
- Shape Business Outcomes: Conduct sophisticated modeling and analysis to project business performance and steer strategic investments
- Guide Senior Management: Act as the go-to expert for senior leaders in all financial scenario modeling, budgeting, and forecasting areas
- Collaborate for Success: Partner with diverse teams across the company to deliver actionable insights, enhance financial outcomes, and align financial plans with business objectives
- Solve Complex Problems: Engage in creative problem-solving, thorough root cause analysis to tackle intricate financial and operational challenges identifying opportunities for improvement
- Influence Decisions: Develop and deliver compelling presentations that distill complex data into clear insights, aiding decision-making processes at the highest levels of Scopely management
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a team player - collaborative, upbeat, and approach challenges with enthusiasm and a positive mindset. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and knowledge in financial and data analysis. You’ll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in delivering financial and strategic analysis, modelling within a startup or consulting style environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems, Data Visualisation, SQL or similar databases is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and persuasive manner
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and devise innovative solutions to financial or operational challenges
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity and problem solving skills
