Senior Full-Stack Engineer

N-iX is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer  to join the team.

Role description

Our client is creating a new AI & Innovation Team in their Bratislava Hub to rapidly develop and launches AI-empowered products that drive key metrics across their company. Youʼll join a tight-knit group of four senior engineers, operating with high autonomy to move from prototype to MVP to production at an accelerated pace. This role involves close collaboration with Machine Learning engineers and ownership of core services that push the boundaries of our E-commerce platform.

A platform that provides global e-commerce and subscription billing solutions that help companies build long-term customer relationships and grow revenue streams. With its flexible, cloud-based billing and monetization platform, cleverbridge integrates seamlessly with client systems, simplifies subscription business models, and delivers an optimized online customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build, optimize, and maintain end-to-end solutions using TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Contribute to a larger AWS-based infrastructure designed with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding best practices to streamline development, maintain high-quality standards, and foster an innovative culture in the broader company team.
• Work rapidly and iteratively—launching features that directly impact companywide KPIs.
• Past experience deploying ML pipelines or integrating pre-trained models into production systems is a big benefit.
• Translating business logic into code
• Automating business processes
• Designing, building, and maintaining performant, efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Requirements review, requirements development
• PCI DSS standard (four-eyes principle), QA, code review
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Problem-solving, root cause analysis, and 3rd level support
• Communicating with internal product owners and stakeholders as well as external providers
• Sharing new ideas and techniques and methodologies

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or E-commerce.
• Bachelorʼs in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Startup or entrepreneurial background and mindset is a plus.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Contributed to cloud infrastructures of substantial size, preferably in AWS.
• Experience with serverless/event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of general tools in team works: JIRA, Git, Jenkins
• Profound experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps or SRE practices (monitoring, logging, observability) is beneficial.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Basic understanding of ML fundamentals; deployment of models in production is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident level of English for daily communication
• Eagerness to iterate quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Go-getter attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
