Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct security risk assessments, penetration testing, and monitoring of security vulnerabilities and hacking threats.
Identify and monitor all cybersecurity risks relevant to the business, providing expert insights and guidance.
Oversee the implementation of prevention, detection, and monitoring systems to handle cyber security attacks effectively.
Assist in the PCI DSS compliance exercise, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.
Develop and execute comprehensive information security plans that safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the business’s data.
Assume responsibility for the overall information and data security posture, establishing and enforcing appropriate standards and protocols.
Direct the implementation of security measures, promptly identifying and responding to information security incidents.
Drive the development and enhancement of information security documentation, ensuring alignment with group policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage and lead security assessments and related engagements, including project assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
Collaborate closely with business units to provide expert support and guidance on information security matters.
Champion security awareness initiatives within the business, promoting a culture of security consciousness and best practices.
Perform ad hoc tasks that assigned by team lead or team manager.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology/Security or equivalent. (candidates with relative level of related experience will be considered).
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. For lead roles, 8 years and above of experience is expected.
Possession of industry-relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ITIL, COBIT, etc., will be advantageous.
Knowledge/experience with various countries' regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
For lead roles, experience in people management, ability to lead and influence people is expected.
Security engineering/operation experience will be advantageous.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - IT Security/AWS/Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
Advanced knowledge in AWS Cloud Computing services and experience with Linux servers is essential.
A creative thinker with the ability to analyze and break down processes, as well as the proven capability to resolve issues effectively.
Independent with excellent analytical skills, a problem-solving attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
