As a Senior Java Back-End Developer at Stakelogic, you will be instrumental in building and optimizing high-load, event-driven components for our Live Casino platform. This role involves implementing Live Casino components from scratch using Java and related technologies, adhering to engineering best practices such as code reviews and TDD, contributing to architectural decisions, and estimating effort for new features. Success in this role is measured by delivering high-quality, scalable applications that meet user and business requirements.
Good To Have:
- Background in the iGaming industry.
- Experience with WebSockets or Server-Sent Events (SSE).
- Familiarity with ClickHouse.
- Knowledge of NGINX.
- Bash scripting skills.
- Experience with Testcontainers.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience with Java (currently using Java 21).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Hibernate.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Containerisation and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
- Solid grasp of algorithms, OOP principles, and design patterns.

Stakelogic is seeking a Senior Java Back-End Developer to join our remote team. You will help build and optimise high-load, event-driven components for our Live Casino platform, leveraging the latest Java technologies. Responsibilities
- Implement highly loaded Live Casino components from scratch using Java and related technologies.
- Follow engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and TDD.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, tooling choices, and continuous improvements.
- Analyse and estimate effort for new features based on business requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Java (currently using Java 21).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Hibernate.
- Experience with Kafka.
