Job Summary

Growe is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to support current functionality and maintain backward compatibility for releases. Responsibilities include delivering completed tasks for testing, providing advisory assistance to QAs, analyzing and tuning system designs to fix performance bottlenecks, decomposing tasks into sub-tasks, estimating development time, performing code and design reviews, leading research and Proofs of Concept (POCs) for new features, helping with new architecture prototyping and migration, and identifying areas for improvement while managing technical debt. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of .NET web development experience with expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C# technologies, along with experience in microservices architecture, backend architecture principles, unit and integration tests, and Gitlab CI or other CI/CD technologies. Experience with Orleans, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as working in an Agile/Scrum development process, are considered a plus. Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and openness to challenges are highly valued.

Must Have

Job Description

  • Support the current functionality and maintain backward compatibility for the releases;

  • Deliver completed tasks for testing and provide advisory assistance to QAs during testing;

  • Analyze and tune system designs to identify and fix performance bottlenecks; 

  • Analyze tasks, decompose them into sub-tasks, and estimate the development time;

  • Perform code & design reviews; 

  • Lead research and POCs of new features;

  • Help with new architecture prototyping and migration on it;

  • Identify areas for improvement and manage tech debt.

We need your professional experience:

  • 5+ years of .NET web development experience;

  • Expertise and deep understanding of .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C# technologies;

  • Experience with microservices architecture;

  • Experience with a breadth of backend architecture principles and technologies;

  • Experience with Unit and Integration tests;

  • Experience with Gitlab CI or other CI/CD technologies; 

  • Experience with Orleans (will be a plus);

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;

  • At least an Intermediate level of English;

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (will be a plus).
