Description

The Senior Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in our decentralized scrum team. They will lead agile testing efforts, collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders, and drive regression automation using our defined automation framework. This role is for those who can work independently, champion quality at every stage, and believe that a quality product is the foundation of our company’s success

Key Responsibilities:

· Agile Testing Leadership:

o Spearhead testing efforts in an agile environment, ensuring timely and efficient prevention of defects and issues.

o Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

· Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Foster strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed in the testing process.

· Regression Automation:

o Trigger and implement regression tests using our defined automation framework.

o Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the repeatability and scalability of tests.

o Collaborate with the development team to integrate testing suites into the CI/CD pipeline.

· Quality Advocacy:

o Advocate for best practices in quality assurance across the team.

o Lead initiatives to improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

o Act as the voice of quality, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.

· Independent Operation:

o Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and ownership of quality assurance projects.

o Proactively identify areas of improvement and introduce innovative solutions to enhance the QA process.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in information technology, or relevant work experience.

· 4+ years of experience in quality assurance

· Strong experience with agile methodologies, particularly scrum

· Proficient in test automation tools specially Selenium.

· Demonstrable experience with regression testing and CI/CD integrations.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
