Senior UX/UI Design Lead

We’re looking to hire a Senior UX/UI Design Lead for a global digital learning and publishing company. You’ll join the Digital Center of Excellence team to lead UX/UI strategy and execution across enterprise-level web and eCommerce platforms. This is an 11-month contract opportunity, and is 100% remote. 

Senior UX/UI Design Lead Responsibilities:

• Lead UX/UI design efforts across web and eCommerce platforms

• Collaborate with content creators, developers, branding stakeholders, and product managers to deliver best-in-class user experiences

• Guide navigation, page layout, and design system implementation using Figma and Bootstrap 5

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs

• Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries

• Ensure full WCAG 2.1/ADA/508 accessibility compliance for all UI components

• Work in agile environments, aligning design with analytics and business goals

Senior UX/UI Design Lead Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on UX/UI design experience (or 5+ with management experience)

• Strong experience with Figma and responsive web design (mobile, desktop, tablet)

• Expertise in design systems, UI libraries, and web component architecture

• Proven knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508)

• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and tools like Asana

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master’s in HCI is a huge plus)

• Self-starter able to autonomously drive UX/UI projects from concept to launch

• Previous experience designing web/ecommerce experiences is highly preferred
