Project Manager - AREA Suite of Apps

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to drive the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the AREA suite of apps. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing strategic portfolio management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk and compliance oversight. As a key player in our team, you will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external development partners to ensure seamless project execution. Your ability to manage timelines, mitigate risks, and engage stakeholders will be crucial in delivering high-quality digital experiences for internal users (sales and marketing teams) and external customers (casino operators and their teams).

What You'll Do

• Lead strategic portfolio management, ensuring projects align with business objectives

• Oversee budget management, vendor contracts, and optimize resource allocation

• Identify and proactively address project risks and dependencies to minimize disruptions

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget

• Monitor project milestones, constraints, and team performance to drive successful execution

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among internal and external stakeholders

• Maintain detailed project documentation, track updates, and follow up on action items

• Lead stand-up meetings to identify priorities, blockers, and risks

• Ensure seamless transitions between development, QA, and production environments

• Implement and refine Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to enhance efficiency

• Manage JIRA boards, workflows, and reporting, providing visibility into project progress

• Establish and continuously improve project management frameworks to optimize delivery

• Identify and implement process improvements for streamlined execution

• Define and track KPIs and key project metrics to measure success

• Provide weekly and monthly reports to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and next steps

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional training in Engineering or related fields

• 4 to 6 years of project management experience in app/software development or DevOps

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid project management approaches

• Proven track record of managing mobile and web application projects

• Proficiency with project tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Asana

• Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, QA, and business teams

• Excellent risk management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present updates to leadership effectively

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
