The Google Cloud DNS team works to provide a suite of highly performant, scalable and reliable mission critical DNS and Domain services to enable us to be the DNS provider of choice for Enterprises and SMBs. We are focused on making Cloud DNS default for all GKE users, including Vertex and other AI use cases.

Cloud DNS is the managed DNS service that underpins the foundation of all GCP customer's workloads (including GKE). We bridge the gap between applications and networks, both on the public internet and on the customer's private network. The main challenge for Cloud DNS is in managing the high reliability and low latency performance of our planet scale backend service while building out an ever expanding portfolio of new product features.
