About Global Payment The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. The Global Infrastructure and SRE team aims to improve our payment systems' stability and overall CI/CD development processes in order to support the fast growth and expansion of our global businesses. In addition, the team is responsible for overseeing the systems' compliance by designing and refining our architecture to empower our payment services to run safely according to the requirements. Responsibilities: 1. Optimise the Global Payment's core architecture for reliability, stability and performance 2. Participate in the design and implementation of the end-to-end payment system to ensure high stability and concurrency requirements 3. Proactively analyse the Payment system to discover problems, improvement opportunities such as adhering to compliance standards, enhancing stability or solving technical challenges 4. Collaborate with the global infrastructure and system team to improve system stability 5. Participate in rotational 24/7 duty on-call estimated at once every bi-month to build in-depth system knowledge, investigating root causes and proposing solutions;

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical disciplines, or equivalent practical experience; 2. Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Go/Java/C++/C#/Python; 3. Strong in analytical thinking and possess excellent troubleshooting skills 4. Ability to demonstrate positive approach to problem solving, strong collaborative spirit and a sense of responsibility 5. Preferred to have experiences with high concurrency/complex business system/service management Preferred Qualification: Minimum 3 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business.
