Job Description

As a Solutions Consultant (Pre-Sales) at Storyteq, you will be a technical expert supporting the sales process. You will align customer requirements with the Storyteq platform's capabilities, create product demonstrations, and act as a liaison between customers and product/engineering teams. This role involves designing high-level solution architectures, contributing to RFPs and marketing programs, and providing industry expertise. You will also be involved in product roadmap guidance and positioning, technical discovery sessions, and solution documentation. You will work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and product to drive customer value and ensure successful implementations.

The Role

Based in the United States, as an SME technical resource in sales process customers, this position provides the solution-level expertise (product capability, product and industry best practices, initial solution architecture guidance, etc.) to support sales of the entire Storyteq platform and related services. With a focus on enterprise solutions for large organisations, the Solution Consultants work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, consulting services, account management, engineering, implementation and customer success, and others to connect customer requirements to our solution capabilities, with the ultimate goal of driving customer value.

Scope

  • Provides the technical knowledge during the sales process to align customer requirements with solution capabilities.
  • Works with customers to determine high-level solution architecture to support customer requirements, and with the
  • Storyteq implementation team to translate requirements into solution design
  • Creates and delivers customized product demonstrations that communicate the Storyteq value proposition and differentiators.
  • Is the primary liaison between the customer’s technical contacts and Storyteq product/engineering teams during the sales process
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, POCs, white papers, Webinars, and other sales and marketing programs to support Storyteq’s GTM efforts.
  • Works with account executives on deal and account strategy.
  • Is a resource for product management and marketing to guide product roadmaps and positioning.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our MarTech platform, including its features, functionality, and integrations.
  • Understands the product category and Storyteq’s competitive positioning.
  • Works with product teams to identify technical product limitations/opportunities for input into the product teams.
  • Provides industry expertise and input around best practices for content operations.
  • Works with internal teams to support employee product enablement.
  • Provides initial high-level implementation estimates and is Liaison with professional services (implementation/delivery) and product teams.
  • Provides solution design and scoping solution documentation as transition from new business award to implementation
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and integration needs.
