We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office

Specialist – Quality Assurance

What can you expect?

We’re seeking for an individual who is ready to work with complex & diverse insurance work.. As a new colleague, you will be provided with Business Overview/Insights, in-depth process training, roles & responsibilities overview, expectations of various stakeholders to make you successful in this role & will get opportunity to enhance insurance knowledge

We will count on you to:

• Undertake monitoring reviews in line with group policies and procedures and suggest corrective actions / remedial measures to business.
• Interpret clauses of Insurance and Reinsurance contracts with specific emphasis on Scope, Coverage, and Limitations.
• Understand group & company procedures and monitor compliance in terms of the business placed by the Group.
• Review and compare policy wordings across different classes of business to advice business with regards to scope and limitations of cover.
• Recommend pragmatic and effective remedial measures to business for addressing any procedural breaches caused during the placement process.
• Understand market practices which impact the broking activities and align review methodology to reflect commercial realities.
• Appropriate usage of Marsh's systems for conducting reviews and monitoring and recording information, ensuring that systems are correctly used during the process.
• Deliver on KPI’s as per company standards.

What you need to have: 

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn new processes and systems, ability to adapt to change
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Graduate
• 3-6 years of experience in insurance broking domain

What makes you stand out?

• Any Insurance qualification or certification will be an added advantage.
• Analytical ability
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
