As part of the global Deal Desk team, the Sr. Deal Desk Analyst will be responsible for deal reviews, approvals, accurate processing, timely communication, and resolution of any ensuing issues. This role supports Sales with quote accuracy, deal processing, and Sales reporting. The analyst will act as an advocate for Sales, Partners, and customers on all transactions and represent the GTM Operations organization in Gigamon’s APAC region. The role involves facilitating non-standard discount approvals, processing and booking Sales and Distribution orders, and delivering weekly bookings and forecast reports to upper management. Additionally, the analyst will monitor high-dollar and/or complex deals in SFDC, manage Salesforce.com data integrity, maintain customer data in ERP, and liaise between Sales and internal departments. This position reports to the Director of Deal Desk.
Must have:
  • Facilitate non-standard discount approvals submitted to Deal Desk
  • Process and book Sales and Distribution orders
  • Act as the Sales Operations point of contact for APAC Sales Leaders
  • Deliver weekly bookings and forecast reports to upper management
  • Manage Salesforce.com data integrity
Good to have:
  • Experience using ERP and CRM applications. Salesforce.com a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus

Job Details

As part of our global Deal Desk team, you will be responsible for Deal reviews and approvals, accurate processing, timely communication of status and resolution of any ensuing issues.  Your work entails supporting Sales with quote accuracy, deal processing and Sales reporting. You will act as Sales, Partner, and customer advocate on all transactions and represent the GTM Operations organization in Gigamon’s APAC region. 
  
What you'll do:
  • Facilitate non-standard discount approvals submitted to Deal Desk 
  • Process and book Sales and Distribution orders 
  • Act as the Sales Operations point of contact for Gigamon’s APAC Sales Leaders, including our Regional VP of APAC Sales 
  • Deliver weekly bookings and forecast reports to upper management and produce other reports as needed 
  • Monitor high dollar and/or complex deals in SFDC and ensure opportunities are set up accurately 
  • Manage Salesforce.com data integrity and assist with clean-up initiatives 
  • Maintain customer data in ERP 
  • Liaise between Sales and internal departments, including Finance and Manufacturing 
  • Other duties as assigned 
  
 What You've Done:
  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field.  
  • 3+ years in Sales Operations or Order Management 
  • High attention to detail and proven organization and administration skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments in collaboration with various business units 
  • Ability to accomplish projects with little or no supervision 
  • MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas (i.e. VLOOKUP) a plus 
  • Experience using ERP and CRM applications. Salesforce.com a plus 
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
