Job Description

The Senior Manager of Professional Services will lead a team of technical experts to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements. This role involves monitoring customer engagements from inception to delivery, driving operational excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving revenue targets. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper documentation, monitoring team workloads, ensuring high-quality service delivery, monitoring team utilization, contributing to professional services strategy, identifying service expansion opportunities, developing strategies to scale the organization, collaborating with various teams, ensuring project adherence to standards, optimizing delivery processes, establishing KPIs, driving continuous improvement, hiring and mentoring a team, and serving as an escalation point for critical customer issues.
Must have:
  • 8+ years of IT related experience
  • 5+ years of Team Lead or Manager experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
Good to have:
  • CISSP and/or similar certification

Reporting directly to the Director of Professional Services, the Senior Manager of Professional Services leads a team of technical experts to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements. This role involves monitoring customer engagements from inception to delivery, driving operational excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering impactful business outcomes.  

What You Will Do

  • Ensure proper documentation and communication throughout all PS project engagements.
  • Monitor team workloads and capacity to balance priorities. 
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality professional services that meet or exceed client expectations. 
  • Monitor team utilization, revenue, and profitability. 
  • Contribute to the development of the professional services strategy in alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and innovation. 
  • Identifying and progressing training and development opportunities for Team. ​
  • Develop and execute strategies to scale the professional services organization and meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and customer success teams to define service offerings and support business growth.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and meet customer expectations through strong project governance.
  • Monitor project progress and address potential risks proactively.
  • Optimize delivery processes, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the success of engagements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performance team of consultants, project managers, and technical resources.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Promote skill development and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical customer issues during project delivery.
  • Ensure a strong focus on client success by deeply understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Drive post-engagement reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
 

What You Will Bring To Forescout

  • 8+ years of experience in an IT related field. 
  • Consultative experience designing and advocating for best-practice solutions. 
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Manager 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. 
  • Financial acumen for budget management and forecasting. 
  • Strong documentation skills, attention to detail is essential. 
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 
  • CISSP and/or similar certification a plus. 
  • A self-motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
