You will use your expertise to build capability and raise work standards within your teams. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and applications on Azure/AWS. Responsibilities include designing scalable systems, identifying best practices, estimating costs, migrating applications, implementing data flow, selecting appropriate services, integrating with on-premises networks, and maintaining knowledge of the latest updates. You will also provide expertise to IT personnel and implement security and compliance measures.
Must have:
  • Experience as an Azure/AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure/AWS services and tools.
  • Experience with cloud architecture and deployment models.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure/AWS CLI).
  • Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Experience with AKS/EKS and IaC tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in Container Build tools.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with cloud governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Azure/AWS Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure/AWS cloud-based systems and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure/AWS services, cloud computing technologies, and technical architecture to design and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure.
  • Identify appropriate use of Azure/AWS operational best practices and architectural design patterns.
  • Conduct systems plan studies and system modeling, performance, and capacity analysis.
  • Estimate costs and identify cost control mechanisms for Azure/Aws cloud-based resources.
  • Migrate complex, multi-tier applications on Azure.
  • Implement and control the flow of data to and from Azure.
  • Select the appropriate Azure service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
  • Integrate Azure services with on-premises networks, as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest Azure updates and improvements to provide optimal solutions.
  • Provide expertise and architectural assistance to other IT personnel, including software developers and systems engineers.
  • Implement Azure security and compliance measures.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Azure/AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure/AWS services and tools.
  • Experience with cloud architecture and deployment models.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure/AWS CLI).
  • Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with AKS/EKS , Azure DevOps/CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD process with hands on experience on Bamboo/GitLab/Jenkins
  • Experience in Container Build tools like Docker/Kaniko/Buildah

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
