Sustainability Manager

What you’ll learn and do

• Join our team on a wide range of advisory and assurance projects;

• Guide clients to identify the impact of key environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues on their business;

• Play a key role in managing impactful client projects by guiding and coaching a team of sustainability experts;

• Support our clients in defining ambitious sustainability strategies, implementing the strategy throughout the business and effectively report on the sustainability performance;

• Develop and support in sustainability upskilling (training, research and team building) and contribute to thought leadership;

• Support in the business development of our ESG practice such as through events and  proposal writing;

• Engage and collaborate with our PwC network of sustainability experts throughout Europe and beyond.

Who you are

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience regarding sustainability (preferably in consulting);

• As part of your professional experience, you have been managing projects and led teams on challenging and complex assignments;

• You have strong technical expertise on ESG challenges (e.g. ESG strategy, sustainable finance, responsible investing, sustainability reporting, responsible sourcing, biodiversity, etc.);

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;

• You have strong analytical skills and affinity with numbers, team orientation and strong leadership personality;

• Ability to speak and write in professional English as well as French and/or Dutch.
