We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Specialist in System Design Engineering to drive operational excellence through the development of tools, processes, and data reporting systems. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with a strong T-shaped skillset—possessing deep expertise in a core discipline while demonstrating broad competence across related areas. With at least 8 years of relevant experience, you are a natural mentor and coach, known for inspiring peers and advancing best practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at influencing change and delivering value across organizational boundaries.
Responsibilities;
Design and implement innovative tools and processes that streamline embedded software integration workflows.
Develop comprehensive data reports and interactive dashboards to enhance team decision-making and performance tracking.
Identify and execute on opportunities to improve operational efficiency and team effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
Lead and manage complex projects related to operational excellence initiatives.
Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to teams in the use of developed tools and processes.
Serve as a mentor and knowledge resource, actively contributing to professional development within the team and wider organization.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in system design engineering or operational excellence roles.
Proven experience in designing and implementing tools, dashboards, and process improvements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects and mentoring team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
Must be able to work fully onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Salary Range: $90,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
