As a Senior Manager of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), you will lead Workday initiatives, collaborate with the HR organization, and oversee the implementation and adoption of Workday modules. You will also manage the HRIS team, develop change management strategies, and support technical aspects of Workday. Furthermore, you'll be responsible for integrations, automation, and fostering communication between departments. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of HRIS management experience, preferably with Workday experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to lead our Workday initiatives and partner closely with the HR organization. This role is critical in supporting effective change management and maximizing system utilization across all HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing HRIS teams, implementing and adopting all Workday modules, and fostering collaboration with IT partners to enhance automation and integration processes.
 
What you'll be working on

  • Workday Implementation and Adoption:
    • Oversee the implementation and adoption of all Workday modules, ensuring alignment with HR strategies and organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with HR leaders to identify system needs and drive enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage the HRIS team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
    • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Change Management:
    • Partner with the HR organization to develop and execute change management strategies that facilitate smooth transitions during system upgrades and new implementations.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote system utilization and best practices among HR staff and end-users.
  • Technical Support and Renewal Opportunities:
    • Support the technical stack of Workday, identifying renewal opportunities and enhancements to optimize system performance.
    • Stay current with Workday updates and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Integration and Automation:
    • Work closely with IT partners to manage integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
    • Identify opportunities for automation to streamline HR processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Foster strong communication channels between HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on HRIS initiatives.
    • Prepare and present reports on HRIS performance, project status, and system utilization to senior leadership.
What you bring to the role

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Workday implementation experience and certification in HCM.
    • 7+ years of experience in HRIS management, with a focus on Workday.
    • Proven experience in managing teams and leading HRIS projects from inception to completion.
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to translate them into system requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with Workday system integrations and working collaboratively with IT teams on automation initiatives.
