This role involves building relationships with stakeholders, identifying talent sources, utilizing applicant tracking systems, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Additional responsibilities include supporting HR processes in Bratislava (onboarding, admin tasks, communication), contributing to employer branding, and managing projects aligned with TA and HR priorities. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, along with experience in international recruitment.

Please note this is a fixed term contract of around 8 months.

Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company, creating exceptional play experiences through it’s three creative centres: Toys, Entertainment and Digital Games. What will you work on?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides ongoing and efficient recruiting support for open positions and helps drive talent management initiatives and projects. This role will support the hiring needs for Europe and Australia, including Toys Digital Games.

They work closely with the Human Resources team in Bratislava to support and participate on some HR processes, including onboarding process, pre-onboarding admin tasks, handles some inter-office communication and supports HRBP.


How will you create impact?

  • Manage the full recruitment process from in-take and sourcing through to onboarding
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and leaders in order to effectively manage the recruitment process
  • Proactively identify sources of talent, and provide efficient talent sourcing for open positions and future talent needs
  • Work closely with the business to identify effective sourcing channels for top talent and drive referrals
  • Proactively seek solutions to obstacles and challenges in recruitment processes, to ensure a healthy recruitment pace and pipeline
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with HR Team, Global TA Team and relevant CoEs
  • Provide an exceptional end to end candidate experience with efficient communication throughout
  • Where relevant, work closely with sourcing support to ensure a strong talent pipeline
  • Assist in enhancement and maintenance of efficient talent acquisition processes
  • Maintain recruiting dashboard and reporting of metrics on all recruiting activities
  • Effectively utilise relevant applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
  • Support employer branding efforts and communication in external channels to effectively promote open positions
  • Coordinate and deliver new employee onboarding experience including employee set up, working station, organizing IT equipment, coordinate the onboarding plans with hiring managers and HR BP
  • Prepare and administrate employment documents prior to the onboarding of new employee
  • Support and organize Employee Initiatives and Events
  • Maintain and update some HR databases and reports
  • Manage projects in line with TA and HR priorities

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Digital Games Toy Europe.

What are your skills and experience?

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience recruiting for an international company
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of talent sourcing methods
  • Experience working in applicant tracking systems
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with people at all organisational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with strong organisational skills
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a customer focus
  • Ability to drive assigned projects/initiatives 
  • Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Communicates a "can do" attitude and positive outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness
  • Self-motivated with desire for continuous improvement
