Job Description

The role is for a Sales Team Leader responsible for growing distribution and market share in an assigned area. Key responsibilities include identifying and recruiting a sales team, coaching and mentoring team members, planning market strategies, and monitoring quality parameters. The role involves ensuring team members are actively engaged in sales and usage activities, and validating team acquisitions and sales through audits. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales and distribution or business development and be skilled in coaching and quick learning.
Must have:
  • 2-8 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution/ business development
  • Graduation / MBA qualification
  • Ability to grow distribution and market share
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to identify and recruit sales team
  • Ability to devise communication methods for plans/targets
  • Monitor quality parameters
  • Conduct audits on acquisitions and sales
Good to have:
  • Experience in Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMGC, Fintech, or Device sales

Job Role - Sales Team Leader 

Expectations/ Requirements

Candidates from Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMGC, Fintech or Device sales domain will be preferred. 

 Experience: 2-8 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution/ business development. 

Qualification – Graduation / MBA

Matrix : The role will report to the Area Sales Manager(ASM) and will have 10-20 field executives as direct reports. 

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :

  1.Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
2. Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product
3. Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
4. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned  ideas and concepts
5. Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE
6. Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap
7. Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management
8. Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team
9. Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done
