Job Summary
Paytm is a leading Indian mobile payments and financial services company focused on building technologies for small businesses. This role is for the Oil and Gas vertical team, which handles offline payment solutions for petrol stations and other retail businesses using QR codes and POS machines. Responsibilities include onboarding new merchants, servicing existing ones, and maintaining relationships with PSU companies. The Sales Team Lead will develop business plans, achieve sales goals, manage sales teams and operations, define sales force structure, coordinate training programs, manage customer expectations, and improve sales processes. The role requires educating merchants on the benefits of swipe machines (EDC), converting them, and managing their accounts. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to execute sales strategies and work both independently and collaboratively.
Must Have
- 3+ years of distribution sales experience in fintech or banking/sales/EDC sales.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage sales strategy execution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Good to Have
- Graduation or Post Graduation preferred.
