Your Role: Test Software Development Engineer

Develop reusable test software building blocks for use in production automated test equipment applications. These software building blocks will be re-used by our global Manufacturing Test teams to build their specific customer production test applications. Examples of software building block use-cases include:

Product serial communications (CAN, Ethernet, etc)

Cybersecurity key & certificate provisioning

Test Instrument control and measurement

Flash programming of memory devices and SOCs

Management of product models and variants

Interfacing to external networks and systems

Technical Writing

Provide technical support to test application developers and production support engineers

Develop and administer training modules for our global test application developers

Research and benchmark new Test software suppliers and 3rd party tool providers

Leverage structured problem solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement

YOUR BACKGROUND:

Minimum bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer/Software Engineering

Experience with Automated Test development

Strong software development skills in C/C++ and variants

Preferred: Experience with NI software development toolchain including TestStand Test Executive, LabWindows/CVI, and LabView

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to work in a diverse, global team environment

Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer focused working style

Business fluent English

Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in Automated Test or Flash programming application development

Preferred: Experience with Six Sigma and statistical methodologies

Preferred: Experience and/or certification in product Cybersecurity technologies and methodologies.

2-6 years of Experience
