Job Description

The Test & Validation Engineer role involves preparing validation scopes, defining testing elements, and creating detailed validation plans based on Valeo standards and customer specifications. The engineer will perform tests, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and collaborate with project teams. They will also be responsible for developing laboratory procedures, implementing new test methods, and maintaining equipment. The role requires a Master's degree in engineering, experience in the automotive industry or laboratory settings, and proficiency in English.
Must have:
  • Master's degree in mechanics, electronics, or mechatronics.
  • 2-3 years of experience in automotive or laboratory settings.
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Apps, LabView, Siemens TIA Portal.
Good to have:
  • Experience with electric motor or software testing.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and tools: MSA, PDCA, SPC.

Valeo Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting and assembly of wiper blades, arms and mechanisms. Additionally, in 2013 production of motors for wipers began. Plant’s main activity is supported by a modern research and development center which is currently employing about 100 staff members

Currently at Valeo Wiper Systems in Skawina we are looking for a Test & Validation Engineer.

YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Preparation of the validation scope based on Valeo standards, customer specifications, and product risk assessment.

  • Defining and preparing the necessary elements for validation, such as: number of samples to be tested, required tools and test benches, potential external testing;

  • Preparation of detailed validation plans;

  • Performing tests in accordance with the validation plan;

  • Coordination of tests at the customer's site and with external suppliers;

  • Cooperation with project teams for product or design validation preparation and execution,

  • Continuous development of laboratory, new tests methods creation and implementation, new equipment introduction,

  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU

  • Education: Master’s degree in mechanics, electronics or mechatronics,

  •  Experience: 2-3 years in automotive or laboratory, experience with electric motor or software testing will be an advantage,

  •  Language: advanced level of English, ability to understand and communicate technical issues, other language will be an advantage

  •  Computer skills: MS Office, Google Apps, LabView, Siemens TIA Portal,

  •  Quality systems and tools: MSA, PDCA, SPC,

  •  Good work organization, precision, problem solving skills & analytical thinking ability.
