Job Description

This role involves planning and executing Cirrus Logic's presence at industry tradeshows, including managing logistics, marketing content, and event promotion. You will also assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns, generating content for PR, social media, and web channels to communicate the Cirrus Logic story. Key responsibilities include managing the 6+ month event planning process, coordinating cross-functional teams for demo shipments, and developing marketing collateral and event communications. Additionally, you will contribute content for internal and external use, assist with web content development, support award nominations, and help drive social media objectives.
Must have:

We have a rare opportunity to join our dynamic team to grow your skillset in event planning, communications and project management as a collaborator on external events and marketing communications. Our team is focused on delivering engaging experiences with employees internally and for customers and prospective customers externally.

You’ll be a key member of our Communications & Culture team, responsible for helping plan and execute Cirrus Logic’s presence at industry tradeshows, including logistics, marketing content and collateral, and event promotion. In this multifaceted role, you’ll also assist in creating, implementing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns, including content creation for PR, social media, and Web channels to help tell the Cirrus Logic story. 

Tradeshow & Event Coordination

    • Execute industry tradeshow & event plans — manage the 6+ month event planning process with that show’s team, create the timeline, manage deliverables, ensure objectives are met, and capture feedback to improve future events.
    • Coordinate across teams and geographies to ensure demos are shipped to and from events in a safe, cost-effective and timely manner.
    • Coordinate with internal colleagues and show organizers to deliver marketing collateral, promotional assets, and other deliverables to deliver ultimate brand execution.
    • Craft event communications and collateral, i.e. cirrus.com, social media, internal communications, demo signage, sales enablement flyers, etc. 
    • Assist with PR opportunities related to tradeshows, i.e. keynotes, roundtables, press meetings, and promotion via social media when appropriate.
    • Manage branded tradeshow swag inventory for US, UK and APAC, including forecasting needs and coordinating shipping and deliveries.
    • Conduct post-event debriefs and make strategic recommendations for improvement.
    • Manage and track individual event expenses.
    • Compile highlights and data for monthly and quarterly updates.

MarCom

    • Contribute content for internal and external usage, i.e.tradeshow news, awards, etc. in written and visual forms (prose, photos, videos) 
    • Assist with Web content development tied, specifically for external events, and to support the Web refresh project. 
    • Assist with award nominations and maintain awards on Web, social media, etc. 
    • Support product launches and other PR activities with content creation as needed. 
    • Collaborate with the MarCom team to support content development and event execution for internal and external audiences. 
    • Maintain a social media calendar and help drive towards overall social media objectives. 
    • Capture and craft channel-optimized content (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) around internal and external events, announcements, technology, sponsorships, community, and employee activities on a weekly basis. 
    • Contribute to the implementation of our Employee Social Advocacy project. 
    • Contribute monthly and quarterly metrics reporting for external communications, including tradeshows, PR, and social media.  

Preferred Skills

    • 2+ years of hands-on experience coordinating tradeshows, corporate events, or marketing initiatives 
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a strong writer.  
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills 
    • Creative mindset for content creation and eye for aesthetics. Experience with Canva, PowerPoint and Sprout Social preferred. Proficiency in creating videos is a plus. 
    • Tackles projects with a positive, can-do attitude and solutions-oriented approach. 
    • Budget management capabilities.
