Job Description
Xsolla seeks a Junior Unreal Developer to join its SDK Development team. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Unreal Engine SDK using C++ and Blueprints, ensuring compatibility across various Unreal Engine versions, creating technical documentation, testing and debugging SDK components, collaborating with engineers and product managers, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate possesses strong Unreal Engine fundamentals, C++/Blueprint scripting skills, UI development experience, and familiarity with plugin systems. The role requires creating clean, efficient tools and optimizing for performance and stability.
Must Have:
- 1+ year Unreal Engine experience
- C++ and Unreal Engine APIs knowledge
- Blueprint scripting and C++/Blueprint integration
- UMG UI development experience
- Unreal Engine plugin system understanding
- Clean, maintainable, documented code
- Git or version control system experience

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Junior Unreal Developer who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow to join our SDK Development team. The best candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and be excited to contribute to the development and maintenance of our Unreal Engine SDK — a toolkit designed to help game developers integrate our solutions more efficiently into their projects.
Strong Unreal Engine fundamentals, C++/Blueprint scripting skills, and a passion for creating clean, efficient tools are essential, along with experience in UI development and working with game engine plugin systems. The ability to debug issues, follow technical documentation, and improve user-facing tools will be key to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain Xsolla’s SDK for Unreal Engine.
- Use C++ and Blueprints to build modular plugins and tools.
- Ensure SDK compatibility across various versions of Unreal Engine.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including usage guides and examples.
- Test, debug, and optimize SDK components for performance and stability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA to refine SDK functionality.
- Assist integration teams with technical support and SDK implementation troubleshooting.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year of experience working with Unreal Engine (personal or professional projects).
- Basic knowledge of C++ and Unreal Engine’s core APIs.
- Familiarity with Blueprint scripting and C++/Blueprint integration.
- Experience with UI development using UMG (widgets, animations, layout design).
- Understanding of Unreal Engine’s plugin system and build processes.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation and team communication.
