We are searching for a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to join our client's dynamic team. This role requires a blend of buy-side experience, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution skills. You will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. You will lead all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation. You will design and oversee employee development programs to foster growth and retention. You will manage compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will drive company culture initiatives and employee engagement programs. You will provide strategic HR counsel to the executive team. You will implement HR technologies and analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Must have:
  • Proven experience as VP of HR or similar senior HR role in a hedge fund or buy-side firm
  • Start-up experience preferred
  • Strong strategic mindset
  • Hands-on approach
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HR technologies and data-driven decision making
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
