Job Description

The Workspace Cloud Architect will work with Google enterprise clients to implement and adopt Google Workspace solutions. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance on deployment, configuration, and management of Google Workspace and related products. This role involves collaborating with customer technical leads, architects, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations of Workspace projects. The architect will also work with geographically dispersed internal teams to design and deliver technical solutions, contributing to customer-facing deployment and migration projects, including service discovery, assessment, planning, and execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience with Google Workspace, project management, cloud solutions, and excellent communication skills.

Must have:

5+ years Google Workspace experience
4+ years project management & solution delivery
Cloud solution architecture experience
Experience with SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS
Networking & compute infrastructure expertise
Design, develop, and maintain Google Workspace solutions

Good to have:

MBA or Master's degree
Experience with cloud security (IAM, SSO, OAuth)
On-premise & cloud-based Gmail, Drive, Chat, AppSheet experience
Java, Python, AppScript, Shell programming skills
Customer-facing migration experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with Google Workspace solutions.
4 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
Experience in networking, compute infrastructure (e.g., servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments.
Experience in working with and promoting SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Experience with migration in customer-facing roles, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
Experience with cloud security, including identity and access management (IAM), SSO, OAuth and 2-step verification.
Experience with on-premise and cloud-based Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat, and AppSheet.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, AppScript, and Shell.
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Design, develop, and maintain Google Workspace solutions for our customers.
