Job Description

This Account Strategist role at Google focuses on mid-market sales within Google Customer Solutions. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly business and product growth goals, owning a portfolio of medium and large businesses, proactively pitching and consulting with customers on their annual digital marketing strategies, driving customer growth by delivering outstanding sales experiences, and managing stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills in English and Turkish, experience in advertising/consultative sales, and the ability to build compelling narratives to engage clients. The role requires a deep understanding of online media, market analysis, and the ability to effectively plan, implement, and track actions to achieve growth targets. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in English and Turkish

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Turkish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success by business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaging promoting.
  • Experience in execution skills to plan, implement, and track actions.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context, and consistently achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against commited quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. 
  • Manage stakeholders and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
