Job Description

Trendyol seeks an Accounting Professional for its Gulf Region operations. Responsibilities include inventory management accounting, handling import/export processes, managing returns, reconciling accounts with suppliers, and ensuring trial balance accuracy. The role requires expertise in Gulf accounting legislation, warehouse accounting, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and preferably SAP-FI and MM modules is essential. Experience in e-commerce/retail accounting is preferred. The role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, with a summer fully remote option.

Must have:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant field
Warehouse accounting experience
Gulf accounting legislation knowledge
Proficient in MS Office, Excel
Analytical & problem-solving skills
Excellent English communication

Good to have:

E-commerce/retail industry experience
Inventory accounting experience
SAP-FI, MM, CO, SD module knowledge

ABOUT THE TEAM

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory of warehouse operations accounting.
Knowledge sharing in Gulf accounting legislation, relevant tax and commercial laws.
Processing the inventory procurement accounting and taking actions for the relevant controls.
Managing accounting of import processes and export processes.
Managing the missing/excessive/return goods processes' accounting.
Having balance/account reconciliation processes with the suppliers.
Checking the trial balance of the relevant accounts and proactively observe possible errors and take action.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from university preferably in Management, Business, Economics and other quantitative studies.
Proficient in MS Office programs, with a good level of Excel knowledge.
Warehouse accounting experience.
Having analytical perspective and problem solving skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Preferably worked in the e-commerce & retail industry, minimum 4 years of experience in accounting.
Preferably having experience in inventory accounting.
Preferably experienced in SAP-FI and MM modules, with basic level knowledge in CO and SD modules.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.

We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.

The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
