Training Centre Operations at CAE lies at the heart of our commitment to training excellence across Civil Aviation and Defense & Security. In this role, the Air Traffics Services Pseudo Pilot at CAE, you will play a crucial role in our simulator sessions by acting as a pilot to provide realistic and effective training scenarios for future air traffic controllers. Your contributions will help ensure that our students gain hands-on experience in a controlled and immersive environment.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Simulation Support:
Operate aircraft simulations in accordance with the scenarios and instructions provided by the training team.
Interact with students to simulate real-world pilot behaviors and communication.
Provide realistic pilot inputs and responses to facilitate effective air traffic control training.
Communication and Documentation:
Use precise aviation language to communicate effectively with students and instructors.
Document and report on simulation sessions, noting any issues or areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with instructors to tailor simulation scenarios that meet specific training objectives.
Qualifications:
Fluency in both English and French, with strong command of aviation terminology in both languages.
Proficiency in aviation language and procedures.
Experience or training in aviation is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to realism in simulation scenarios.
Previous experience in a simulation or training environment is a plus, but not required.
A passion for aviation and contributing to the development of future air traffic professionals.
