As an Area Sales Manager at Paytm, you'll be responsible for driving sales of EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines to merchants across multiple locations. This involves building and managing a sales team, setting goals, overseeing daily operations, and monitoring team performance. Key responsibilities include hiring and training team members, resolving merchant queries, driving engagement with the merchant base, and fostering a positive team environment. You will need strong sales, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, along with experience in cold calling, lead generation, and team management. Success in this role requires high drive, initiative, and the ability to meet sales targets.

About the role: The person should be capable of increasing the sale of EDC machines through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.
