Job Responsibilities :
Prepares monthly financial statement closing and reporting. Also in-charge for financial analysis and presentation to management, as well as be the liaison with different stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, regulatory body
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards, this includes verifying the completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess the organization's financial health.
- Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, inventories, accruals, bank and inter-company balances.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Regularly communicates with Business and IT Team to obtain additional business information, clarifying appropriate accounting policies and address any issues or area of concerns.
- Coordinate with local auditors/local tax consultant for audit/financial matters by providing information and responding to queries.
- Implementing and maintaining financial system and software that enhance internal controls and risk management.
- Development and implementation of internal controls, process, management, and improvement, policy & procedures for the group.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pre-Requisites :
- A university graduate in accounting and finance and / or a member of a recognized body such as MIA, ACCA, CPA etc.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field as Accountant or Assistant Manager.
- Prior experience of working in a global environment or audit experience in BIG4 is a definite advantage.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in SAP HANA will be an added advantage.
