Job Description

The Associate UA Manager will be responsible for driving user acquisition and creative campaigns with a strong emphasis on performance marketing in Korea. This includes designing and implementing user acquisition campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, monitoring campaign performance, and optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights. The role involves reviewing and optimizing creatives, and adapting strategies in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have experience in leading mobile user acquisition, strong communication skills in both English and Korean, and experience with major mobile user acquisition platforms.

What We Need

2K is seeking an experienced Associate UA Manager to join our Asia Mobile team. This role will focus on driving user acquisition and creative campaigns with a strong emphasis on performance marketing and be responsible for acquiring high-quality users through strategic campaign management and data-driven optimizations. The ideal candidate will deep local insights, a proven track record in driving successful UA strategies, and a strong sense of ownership to help grow our mobile games portfolio in Korea.

What You’ll Do

  • Campaign Management: Design and implement impactful user acquisition campaigns in Korea and other regions, identifying key target segments and implementing solutions that improve acquisition performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with 2K Asia Mobile Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to strategize and implement campaigns.
  • Agency Management: Coordinate with external agencies to ensure the timely execution of UA campaigns, with clear KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Leverage MMP tracking tools and media dashboards to monitor campaign performance. Provide insightful analysis and generate reports on UA spend, store data, and performance outcomes.
  • Optimization: Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns for better results, including A/B testing, creative adjustments, and budget management.
  • Creative Oversight: Review and optimize creatives, targeting, bidding, and budgets on a daily basis, ensuring campaigns are aligned with performance goals.
  • Adaptability: Respond to changing user trends and dynamically adjust strategies in a fast-paced, live-ops environment.

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • 3+ years of experience in leading mobile user acquisition for successful mobile titles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean.
  • Proven experience working with major mobile user acquisition platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Kakao, Naver, UAC, Apple Search, and other ad networks).
  • Familiar with multiple ad networks and platforms (Instagram, Meta Ads, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, Kakao, Naver, etc.)
  • Experience executing high-velocity ad campaigns and creative testing (~20-50 new creatives per month) with defined KPIs and exit metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations, even with imperfect data.
  • Self-starter with a creative problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience contributing to budget strategies across diverse geographies and managing UA campaigns within the broader marketing mix.
  • In-depth knowledge of MMP tracking tools and media dashboard setup.
  • Proficient in Excel and other office tools.
