Job Description

As an Associate UI Designer at Forescout, you will assist in designing and implementing user interfaces for cybersecurity applications, ensuring visual appeal and brand alignment. You'll support UX designers, create interactive prototypes, maintain design guidelines, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include contributing to design solutions, participating in user feedback sessions, and staying updated on design trends. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1+ year of experience, a strong design portfolio, and familiarity with design tools like Adobe Suite and Figma. A basic understanding of UX principles, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are crucial.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented junior UI designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive and engaging interfaces, with foundational skills in visual design, user experience, and collaboration. This role requires an understanding of visual hierarchy, a user-centered approach, and a desire to develop polished, innovative design solutions with guidance and support from senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing and implementing user interfaces for cybersecurity applications, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with our brand identity.
Support UX designers to ensure a cohesive user experience by integrating UI elements with user-centered design processes.
Create interactive prototypes to validate design ideas and gather feedback from team members.
Contribute to maintaining design guidelines for visual consistency across platforms.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to effective design solutions.
Participate in user feedback sessions and iterate on designs based on input from users and team members.
Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and techniques, with support to integrate them into your workflow.

What You Will Bring To Forescout

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in a UI Design or related role.
Portfolio showcasing design work, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Familiarity with design and prototyping tools like Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) and Figma.
Basic understanding of UX principles and a willingness to collaborate with UX designers.
Attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and articulate design decisions.
Creative problem-solving abilities and curiosity about user interactions.
Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment, with support from team leads.
