Job Description
We are looking for a Senior AWS Architect to lead our cloud architecture initiatives in the UAE. You will design, implement, and manage AWS-based architecture to support business goals and optimize performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of cloud solutions, setting the strategic direction for infrastructure and cloud services. Key responsibilities include architectural leadership, cloud strategy development, security best practices implementation, performance tuning, collaboration with other teams, documentation and knowledge sharing.
Must have:
- Enterprise-level experience
- 4+ years of AWS Architecture experience
- AWS Architecture Certification
- Engineering background
- Lead design and implementation of complex AWS architectures
- Develop and execute cloud strategies
- Implement security measures
- Optimize cloud applications and services
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams
- Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation
Good to have:
- Experience with DevOps practices
- CI/CD and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuous learning

- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and foster a learning culture within the team.
- Proven experience as an AWS Architect or in a senior technical role, with a strong portfolio of successful AWS projects.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation) and relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on cloud computing trends and best practices.
