As an Azure Specialist focused on Digital Native customers, you'll lead a virtual team in helping enterprise clients achieve digital transformation through cloud computing. Responsibilities include developing secure, AI-ready migration strategies, building compelling business cases, driving projects to production, and maintaining strong customer relationships at the senior leadership level. You will need to create buy-in, jointly sell with partners, build proposals, lead multi-million dollar deals, and exceed sales quotas. The role requires orchestrating virtual teams, influencing Microsoft's go-to-market strategies, and providing customer feedback.

Overview

As an Azure Specialist focused on Digital Native customers, you are a senior business leader with technical and business expertise within our enterprise sales organization, working with our most important customers. You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realize the digital transformation through cloud computing. You will develop and maintain holistic Secure Migrations to be AI-Ready expertise, able to identify projects, build a compelling business case, and drive the consumption project to production. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor, driving engagement at the senior leadership level with business and technology decision makers.  

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years experience leading the sales of large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure migration and application modernization projects to large/global enterprise customers 

 

Responsibilities

  • Create “buy-in” vision with key decision makers by building executive relationships to generate excitement around Microsoft solutions’ value to influence long-term strategic direction.
  • Engage and jointly sell with Partners and Priority ISVs to maximize business results by bringing together Microsoft and Partner solutions to deliver against customer business outcomes.
  • Build business cases and customer proposals to substantiate the value of the solution leveraging available programs and offer to negotiate, close the deal and successfully displace competition.
  • Lead multi-million-dollar deals requiring orchestration of virtual teams composed of industry, solution, technical, licensing & legal team members.
  • Drive Sales Excellence: Exceed sales / cloud consumption quota by driving pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer: Share feedback, best practices to influence Microsoft Go-To-Market and product strategies.
