Job Summary:

We are looking for a Kubernetes Expert to manage multiple applications on Kubernetes Clusters for a 4 Billion dollar health-tech company.

The ideal candidate must have demonstrated subject matter expertise in Kubernetes cluster management. Must be a Kubernetes Expert with a minimum of 3-7 years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale applications and expertise in various deployment strategies (rolling updates, blue-green deployment, and canary deployment).

Master the orchestration of containers, optimizing scalability, and deployment in cloud-native environments.

Kubernetes Expert job responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across diverse projects.
Troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades and implement monitoring solutions.
Efficiently manage Kubernetes clusters using Terraform for automation.
Participate in on-call rotation, addressing 503 and 504 errors promptly.
Implement preventive measures and optimize clusters for enhanced stability.
Analyze load balancer logs, specifically addressing 503 anomalies.
Implement and optimize Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA) for dynamic pod adjustments.
Collaborate with teams to enforce security best practices and ensure compliance.
Create and maintain documentation for operational procedures and incident response plans.
Manage pipelines efficiently across diverse projects.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an SRE with a focus on Kubernetes cluster management.
Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, upgrades, and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters.
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and pipeline management.
Proficient in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
Strong networking knowledge relevant to container orchestration.

Preferred Qualifications:

Kubernetes certification (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA).
Experience with alternative container orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, Apache Mesos).
Understanding of microservices architecture and related technologies.
Previous experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
