The BI Developer will be part of the Business Intelligence Systems team, developing internal BI systems to calculate key marketing metrics. This involves frequent communication with stakeholders, hands-on work creating and refining reports using visualization tools, and configuring internal services. The role requires a strong mix of business insight and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include participating in internships, developing and enhancing dashboards, maintaining metric definitions, collaborating with experts, and supporting the development of new analytics tools. They will work with different teams like User Acquisition and Ad Monetization to gain a comprehensive understanding of different business areas.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis/BI development.
  • Proficiency in SQL, particularly with ClickHouse.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Superset/Looker Studio.
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.

ZiMAD, a mobile game development and publishing company headquartered in Miami, Florida, is seeking a BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence Systems team.

This position involves active participation in nearly every aspect of developing internal BI systems used to calculate key marketing metrics for user acquisition (UA) campaigns, such as ROAS, LTV, CPI, Cost, RR, and others.

The role requires frequent communication with internal stakeholders from marketing departments, as well as hands-on work in creating and refining reports using visualization tools like Superset, Looker Studio, and similar platforms.

It also includes configuring internal services by collaborating with IT teams, developers, and leveraging existing platforms, tools, and solutions to support business objectives.

Success in this role requires a strong mix of business insight, domain expertise, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in internships across key departments such as User Acquisition, Ad Monetization, and others to gain a comprehensive understanding of different business areas
  • Contribute to various aspects of internal BI systems, including developing and enhancing dashboards and reports (e.g., incrementality analysis, creative optimization)
  • Maintain and standardize metric definitions, and unify data from different sources such as Facebook Ads and Unity Ads
  • Collaborate with internal subject-matter experts to gather and document business needs, translating them into clear user, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Support the development and/or procurement of new analytics tools and data-driven products that serve internal stakeholders, enhance user experience, and drive overall business success

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis and/or as a BI developer, with a solid understanding of data pipelines
  • Proficiency in SQL, particularly with ClickHouse
  • Experience designing reusable, multi-dimensional datasets for visualization tools such as Apache Superset, Looker Studio, or similar
  • Proven ability to collaborate with both business and technical teams to gather requirements and perform impact analysis
  • Strong team player who thrives in a complex, global work environment
  • Familiarity with various software development methodologies and disciplines
  • Skilled in documenting detailed requirements, system designs, and process workflows

Will be a plus:

  • Experience working with mobile apps and games projects, understanding of the basic metrics’ meaning, industry terms, and trends
  • Experience in business and system analysis
