The Bilingual Technical Project Coordinator will act as a key liaison between our English and Chinese-speaking development teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination of project tasks. You will collaborate closely with game developers, artists, and management to keep projects running smoothly. Responsibilities include project coordination, communication and translation (if needed), task management, and project reporting. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in video game development, including knowledge of engineering processes, and be comfortable assisting with project timelines, task management, and deliverables. Hybrid - Mostly remote with required visits to Beverly Hills and Culver City offices.
Must have:
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with video game development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination (preferably in video game industry)
  • Familiarity with game engines and development software
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving ability, identify project risks and find solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, work effectively in a collaborative environment
Good to have:
  • Previous experience working with international teams
  • Understanding of the video game production lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks
  • Video game engineering background

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in video game development, including knowledge of engineering processes, and be comfortable assisting with project timelines, task management, and deliverables. You will collaborate closely with game developers, artists, and management to keep projects running smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and verbal), with the ability to understand technical and non-technical documentation.

  • Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, video game design, or a related field, with experience in video game development (e.g., programming, tools, or engine development, Design, Project management).

  • Project Coordination Experience: 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the video game industry.

  • Familiarity with Game Development Tools: Experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and development software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Perforce).

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage priorities, and stay on top of deadlines.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Comfortable with identifying project risks and working with technical teams to find solutions.

  • Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with international teams.
  • Understanding of the video game production lifecycle, including design, engineering, and art workflows.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Video game engineering background is a plus
