Project Manager

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a Fortune 500 client located in Mettawa, IL. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule—requiring 3 days onsite each week.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory for patient services programs, ensuring product availability for patients.
• Track and forecast inventory levels for medical supplies, marketing materials, and other patient support items.
• Anticipate and address supply chain issues to prevent inventory shortages.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement of materials, and oversee contracts and purchase orders.
• Provide program management support for marketing initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
• Research and recommend new products to enhance patient care, collaborating with marketing and strategy teams.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in inventory management and procurement processes.
• Manage relationships with the distribution center, handling inventory storage, packaging, mailing, returns, and disposal of expired products.

Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management and vendor/stakeholder management.
• 3+ years of experience leading customer success teams or professional services operations.
• Strong proficiency in inventory management principles.
• Experience interpreting data to forecast inventory needs and patient flow.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, purchasing, and distribution.
• Experience with Total Quality Management (TQM) is a plus.
• Excel and/or Smartsheet proficiency is highly desirable.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
