Business Analyst - Data Team

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Retention Analyst at LeoVegas, you will be responsible for analyzing key multichannel campaign management metrics across all brands and markets. The role involves monitoring retention rate trends, bonus performance, churn, and loyalty program effectiveness to identify root causes and patterns. You will collect actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations for stakeholders to use in making strategic decisions.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Analyze key multichannel campaign management metrics (reach, open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, etc.) for all brands and markets.
• Monitor retention performance, churn, and loyalty program effectiveness to identify root causes and provide data-driven recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Use advanced analytical techniques to extract actionable insights from bonus campaigns to understand their impact in terms of customers affected, deposits collected vs. bonus spent, and profitability.
• Work closely with data engineers to adapt, create, and improve data quality at the source, in the data warehouse.
• Produce, validate, and deliver projections on the future evolution of the CRM area and the VIP sector.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in data analysis in Retention/CRM context.
• Strong experience in SQL and Tableau (or any other data visualisation tool)
• Expertise in gathering data from diverse sources with varying levels of granularity and rawness, performing in-depth analysis, and extracting actionable insights.
• Ability to respond to complex questions in a simple yet effective manner, presenting numerical evidence in a way that can be easily understood and adopted by business stakeholders with minimal friction
• Understanding how data models works and evolve combined with the ability to work collaboratively with data engineers and other cross-functional teams in order to improve the number and the quality of the data points
• Eagerness to continuously improve and grow within your career.
• Fluent in English.

NICE TO HAVES

• Strong academic background is preferred – MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Marketing or other relevant fields
• Whilst not a prerequisite, candidates with experience in iGaming, Data Modelling, R, Python, will be given preference
• Familiarity with common statistical analysis concepts (e.g., standard deviation, percentile distribution, A/B testing, test vs. control group experimentation, statistical significance)
• Advanced data visualization techniques (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
