As a Business Controller in the Finance Business Partnering division, you will play a key role in driving performance, value creation, and profitability. The role involves close collaboration with the finance organization, performing deep-dive analyses to understand complex business issues. You will prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts, and contribute to the development of finance processes and applications. Responsibilities include managing reporting processes, owning expenses, calculating bonuses, liaising with stakeholders, and identifying areas for improvement. The role requires effective communication, analytical skills, and a self-starter attitude. The role involves working in a hybrid setup 2-3 days a week.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience as FP&A analyst/Business Controller
  • Experience in financial planning, reporting, and budgeting
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Structured and analytical mindset
  • Experience in utilizing financial applications
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Academic degree in finance
Good to have:
  • Experience in an international environment
  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US:

As Business Controller in the Finance Business Partnering division, you will be a key enabler for our Finance Business Partners, assisting them drive performance, value creation, and profitability. The role is involved in close collaboration with the rest of the finance organization and requires being a critical team member in performing deep-dive analyses to understand complex business issues. You will leverage your professional skills and controlling mindset when preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and other deliverables, and will drive the development of our finance processes, financial applications, and data.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Drive the management reporting processes - forecasting & budgeting
  • Own expenses & headcount from a financial perspective for core business - commercial
  • Calculate bonuses & commissions, provide data for accruals
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, incl. taking part in meetings with operational and executive representatives, engaging with stakeholders’ input, making recommendations on cost savings, highlighting risks
  • Represent finance to business stakeholders, present performance and assess impact on full year
  • Comment on YTD & full year performance
  • Drive or contribute to finance, business initiatives and projects
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to address deficiencies in processes
  • Perform ad hoc analytical and controlling tasks

WHAT WE VALUE:

  • At least 2 years of experience as FP&A analyst, Business Controller or in a similar role responsible for expenses reporting and in an international environment would be beneficial
  • Experience with financial planning, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial business support
  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to bridge finance and business
  • A structured and analytical mindset with a self-starter attitude
  • Experience in organizing data and utilizing financial applications to enhance reporting and analytics
  • High motivation, steady focus, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a changing global environment
  • Audit background is beneficial
  • Knowledge of the software ‘Adaptive Planning’ is beneficial
  • Advanced excel – Power Query & modeling is beneficial
  • An academic degree in finance
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Amenable to work in a hybrid setup (2-3 days per week) at our Warsaw office
